Gold Digger

Since the days of Cleopopatra women have obsessed over gold, using it as a way to show their status and style.  Not much has changed since the days of the Egyptians and women still crave a little bling.  While Cleopatra is obviously ancient history, there are new women setting the trends.  Olivia Palermo, a truly notorious fashion icon, is constantly accesorising her outfits with gorgeous statement necklaces (as seen above).  A gold statement necklace will not only add flare to the most casual of outfits, but make a classic fashion statement.  Below are some of my favorite collar length gold statement necklaces...I couldn't choose if I had to!  Enjoy!

Go the Length

I just got done checking the fashion forecast and it looks like this spring will be sunny with a chance of midi... skirts that is.  The midi skirt is the newest (and perfect) spring essential.  Not only are they feminine and a great alternative to slacks, but midi skirtis are the perfect way to hide those wintery-whites (legs that is) as you get ready for the short shorts of summer!  Make sure to wear a great pump with your midi (the taller the better) and nothing to chunky on top.  So go the length and become e a more sophisticated you!  Here's a midi preview of skirts headed your way- Enjoy!

On the Cat Walk

One thing I can’t shake from my “want” list is a pair of animal print wedges.  I keep trying to twist the facts so I don’t have to face the cold hard truth the leopard print wedges, in the middle of December, just aren’t a necessity.  I live in flats, love wedges, and can’t say no to a beautiful pair of pumps.  With the click of my heels I know these wedges would take an outfit from drab to fab.  Cheetahs and leopards have fled the jungles and are invading our closets (hopefully mine soon!).  Check out some of my favorite finds- Meow! 

Vest Alert!

Want a super easy wardrobe update?  Add a vest to your outfit!  Not only will a vest add an extra layer of warmth this season, but give you an extra kick of style.  Vests can help outfits transition from day to night, as well as season to season.  Go super casual with a long knit vest over leggings with boots, or spice up your LBD with something a little more fur-tastic.  Either way you can't go wrong and you'll have an instant style update.  Check out a few of my favs!
